YWCA Greater Austin is a CEU accredited provider for Social Work, LPC, and LMFT Continuing Education Unit hours. Through the Continuing Education Series, licensed clinicians, educators, and others working in social services have the opportunity to sharpen their counseling skills. Each Continuing Education training offered provides three (3) CEU hours, unless otherwise indicated.

Monthly Dialogues on Issues of Racism & Discrimination | DRD
Whether you are a teacher, public servant, student, counselor, parent, young adult, child, elder, male, female, black, white, brown, yellow, atheist, religious, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, a person with a disability, etc. and 'ism' has touched you in some way. YWCA Greater Austin foments open, honest, productive conversation about issues related to race and discrimination as a tool for change. This FREE dialogue is open to the Greater Austin community. Dialogues are co-facilitated by Laura Gómez-Horton, LCSW, YWCA Clinical Director.

YWCA Greater Austin's first documented education and training experience dates back to 1920. Since then its course offerings have evolved to meet the changing realities of the Greater Austin community. At present, YWCA Training Institute provides a variety of trainings that help educate the Austin community on gender and race-based inequities.
